Walden Riverside Farm offers fifty acres of land to serve as your blank canvas for any wedding, celebration, or event. We can  accommodate up to 200 guests comfortably and have access to local vendors and businesses to provide all of the necessary staples and fixtures needed to serve you; from tables, chairs, decorations, food, and an extra large tent. Of course, you are always welcome to use your own vendors as well.

Riverside Glamping Encampments

Available either as a stand-alone or add-on option to any wedding or event, we are proud to offer a Riverside Glamping Experience with as many tents as are needed by the reserving party! Outdoor tables, firepit, and more accompany the glamping area.

Riverside Farm is located at 90 Wallkill Road, Walden, NY. We are in Orange Country—80 miles north of NYC and 80 miles south of Albany.
Our site is available for events in late Spring, Summer, and Fall only. The farm is available to photographers all year round.

There is no minimum for the venue, but the maximum for an outdoor reception is 200.

While we do not have dedicated lodging, we do have a partnership with The Pop-Up BNB, which offers multiple glamping tents on our riverside for overnight stay! Please inquire about this add-on package!

At this time, we do not have a bridal suite, however we can recommend nearby rentals that would be perfect for you and your bridal party.

Adjacent to the barn, there is a gravel parking lot for up to 100 cars. Depending on weather, the fields can be used to hold more cars if necessary. Parking for food vendors can be arranged closer to barn and tent if needed.

Walden Riverside Farm provides use of the Dutch Barn, and surrounding areas for your reception. All other areas and structures on the farm can be used for a ceremony and/or  pictures.

Yes, you can bring in decorations for inside the barn and the outside areas.
Yes, but music can be set up inside and/or outside for the reception and ceremony.

The Dutch Barn is an Old-World rustic Barn, it does not have fans, air conditioning, or heat. Fans can be brought in if desired.

Yes, once you book, we can provide you a list of vendors for catering, music, rentals, etc.

You and your vendors have access to the venue three days before your event to decorate and set up.
